There are some economic reports of note and a few significant corporate earnings reports scheduled for release this week.

Wed. – Bloomberg Global Confidence, weekly MBA mortgage applications report, weekly EIA energy inventory data, Consumer Price Index, Empire Manufacturing, Industrial Production, Capacity Utilization, FOMC June 24th Meeting Minutes


Thur. – Initial Jobless Claims, Net Long-term TIC Flows, Philly Fed, NAHB Housing Market Index, weekly EIA natural gas inventory report


Fri. – Housing Starts, Building Permits

BOTTOM LINE: I expect US stocks to finish the week modestly higher on less financial sector pessimism, falling long-term rates, short-covering, bargain-hunting and mostly positive earnings reports. My trading indicators are giving mixed signals and the Portfolio is 75% net long heading into the week.
