Wed. - MBA Mortgage Applications, 4Q Current Account Balance, Import Price Index

Thur. - Producer Price Index, Initial Jobless Claims, Empire Manufacturing, Net Lon-term TIC Flows, Philly Fed

Fri. - Consumer Price Index, Industrial Production, Capacity Utilization, Univ. of Mich. Consumer Confidence

BOTTOM LINE: I expect US stocks to finish the week modestly higher on mostly positive brokerage sector earnings reports, buyout speculation, lower energy prices, short-covering and bargain-hunting. My trading indicators are giving mixed signals and the Portfolio is 75% net long heading into the week.
