This is the single most important piece of information in the Vegas bombing. For those of you unfamiliar with Signal, it is a peer to peer encrypted messaging app that assigns you a unique safety number based off of your phone and SIM card. It only changes if your Signal account is loaded onto a new phone or SIM. It automatically lets everyone in conversations with you know if your safety number has changed. Matt’s changed on the 29th.
