The chipmaker has order visibility until the end of April, with customers not ruling out a replenishment of inventory in May or June. Taiwan Semi, the world’s largest customer chipmaker, on Jan. 22 forecast it would post its first quarterly loss since 1990 as overall chip industry sales are projected to decline 30% this year.
