On a visit to one of the packing plants in Michigan, I noticed several men in hazmat suits entering the growing room. These people began spraying massive amounts of chemicals, which all read, “DO NOT GET ON SKIN” or “DO NOT ENHALE”. These chemicals are not necessary to the process, what it does is keeps infestation off of the plants. My thought was why would we worry about infestation, when we are growing indoors, in a lab?
