A new study published in Nutrients reveals that nearly 60% of baby foods sold in the U.S. fail to meet World Health Organization nutritional standards. Researchers analyzed 651 products and found that 70% lacked adequate protein, 44% had excessive sugar, and 20% exceeded sodium limits. Processed convenience foods, such as snack pouches and bars, were particularly concerning.
